Lydia Pondhaven New Forest Lodge, Milford on sea

We had a lovely long weekend as a family with two kids. The lodge was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Short drives to get into the heart of the New Forest and Avon Beach for some sand. We also had fun along the woodland trails to Milton on Sea and using the swimming pool at Shorefield. We’d recommend staying.

we had a really nice few nights stay at pond haven, it was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very tastefully decorated and furnished, lovely edition of the bottle of fizz and snacks waiting for us on arrival and an unexpected christmas tree and decorations up for our stay. Great communication from the hosts and all information provided.

Marsha NEW Forest Cottage Sleeps 6 Fire Pit / Pet Friendly

The pictures looked a little too perfect to be real – so imagine my surprise when every picture turned out to actually not do the space justice!! Robin's gate was absolutely lovely – beds were sooo comfy, living area was spacious, kitchen was made for cooking for large families, BBQ pit was provided, so many seating areas, garden was so prettily in bloom, lots of places to walk in the area... It was all like something from an Enid Blyton story. And the conservatory was my absolute favourite – whether to have a quiet cup of coffee/tea in the a.m. or that glass of wine at the end of the day. There was something for everyone – great selection of books, some games, television and selection of DVDs. Nick was absolutely amazing – from the first message when I booked, to every question I had being immediately answered. He even popped over to help rather than just explaining on the phone. Let's not forget the wonderful welcome gift basket. We felt so well taken care of. Best host ever!! Well Nick – I'm only sorry they gave me 1,000 characters – because I could have gone on for longer. It was truly a pleasure meeting you and I'm sure we will see each other again. I'll be looking for properties managed by you whenever I am in the area again!
